Edited and published by the legendary Alfred Stieglitz from 1903 to 1917, the periodical Camera Work featured some of the era's finest examples of photography and illustration, introducing Americans to Modernism and legitimizing photography as an art form. This volume reproduces chronologically all the photos and other drawings — except advertisements — that appeared in the magazine. Includes an extensive historical Introduction and three Indexes.
